Sascha has undertaken research and consulting focusing on regulations and the efficient allocation of resources in a sustainable market economy. He is using applied general equilibrium modelling as a tool to address important practical policy issues. In a recent study, he investigated the macroeconomic impacts of various natural disasters in several countries on their economies and the world through global supply chains using a global computable general Equilibrium (CGE) model.
