Ruby Marsilio

 Ruby joined NZIER in July 2025. She leads the creative direction across the organisation, from designing reports, publications, and marketing materials to managing our social media presence and coordinating events. Through her collaboration with NZIER’s economists and researchers, she turns complex ideas into clear, engaging communications that support better decision-making and positive outcomes for Aotearoa.

Ruby graduated from Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington in 2023 with a Bachelor of Innovation, majoring in Interaction Design and minoring in Marketing. This blend of creative thinking and strategic insight shapes the way Ruby approaches design, helping ensure NZIER's work is both accessible and impactful.
