Jean-Pierre will become Chief Executive of NZIER on 15 September 2008, when Brent Layton retires from the position. See announcement here.

Jean-Pierre has over ten years of policy and research experience in health, education and welfare. He first joined NZIER in 2001. From October 2003 to October 2004, Jean-Pierre was the national policy manager at ACC. Prior to 2001 Jean-Pierre was a senior analyst at the Ministry of Health working on strategic policy, health labour market issues, and DHB accountability.
