Costing parties' tax policies:

The Treasury engaged NZIER to provide estimates of individual parties’ tax policies for the Finance and Expenditure Committee. In accordance with the project’s terms of reference, each policy has been costed in isolation from any other proposed policies unless specified otherwise. Cost estimates exclude estimation of the wider economic effects of the policies. Possible changes to administration costs, such as increased personnel costs related to policy implementation, are also excluded.
