As a Senior Economist you will provide expert advice to clients of NZIER. You pride yourself on your ability to offer new insights and workable solutions to your clients.

NZIER seeks applicants who have:

• entrepreneurial flair
• strong networks in the business and policy sectors
• at least 5 years experience working as an economist.
• strong analytical and problem solving skills
• excellent presentation and writing skills
• good customer service skills, and
• a first class honours degree or higher in economics.

A background in regulatory economics, the aviation and other network industries, building economics, or the application of economics in local government would be preferred.
